ATZ DISC BRAKES WITH ELECTROHYDRAULIC THRUSTOR

ATZ DISC BRAKES WITH ELECTROHYDRAULIC THRUSTOR

The brakes are applied in the mechanisms where the relatively smooth increase of the braking torque is required. The braking torque incremental degree is adjustable when a thrustor with delay valves is used. The thrustor is a hydraulic actuator supplied from the pumps driven with a squirrel-cage motor. In motor operation, the rotor of the pump forcing oil under the motor piston is driven, thus moving the piston upward and releasing the brake. When the motor stops (no supply voltage), the piston is moved downward (due to the compressed spring installed in the release)  and the brake is braked  The ATZ brakes are intended for continuous and intermittent operation.
